Currently, negotiations are under way on the European Union's new Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) for 2028 to 2034.

The Commission's proposal one year ago charted a new course. In the wake of the Draghi and Letta reports on boosting the EU's competitiveness and future viability, the MFF has been realigned in order to use funds more efficiently.
