Tesla updated the Model Y earlier this year, but held back the hot Performance flavor. Now, the range-topping variant has officially arrived. Curiously, its debut takes place in Europe, where Elon Musk’s company has been on a downward spiral so far this year. According to sales data published by the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA), Tesla deliveries are down by a third through July. The question is, can the Performance model move the needle?
