The new laws and rules that will come into force in 2023

With a new year just around the corner it’s important to be aware of the new laws and rule changes which are coming into force in the UK. Many people probably won’t be aware of the changes being made, but they can affect your daily life, any payments you receive from the government and even how much you earn.

The laws changing in 2023 will range from increases to Universal Credit and wages to even how you’re able to vote. Next year will also see a significant change in retained EU law.

After an extremely challenging financial year there will be a lot of measures put in place in 2023 to help people, including maintaining an energy price cap and retaining the pensions triple lock. We can also expect changes for road users too.
