Father Stu
Based on a true story, Father Stu follows amateur boxer Stuart Long (Mark Wahlberg), who moves to LA dreaming of stardom when an injury ends his career. While scraping by as a supermarket clerk, he meets Carmen (Teresa Ruiz), a Catholic Sunday school teacher who seems immune to his bad-boy charm.
Determined to win her over, the longtime agnostic starts going to church to impress her. But a terrible motorcycle accident leaves him wondering if he can use his second chance to help others find their way, leading to the surprising realisation that he is meant to be a Catholic priest.
Despite a devastating health crisis and the skepticism of Church officials and his estranged parents (Mel Gibson and Jacki Weaver), Stu pursues his vocation with courage and compassion, inspiring not only those closest to him but countless others along the way.

Right Here, Right Now
This feature-length documentary recalls Fatboy Slim’s notorious July 2002 event on Brighton Beach, which was described as the “biggest outdoor party the UK has ever seen.” Right Here, Right Now takes the audience back to an extraordinary moment in time, when social and cultural history reached a crossroads at The Big Beach Boutique II.
The event made history – both good and bad. Organisers and police were expecting 40,000 people but more than a quarter of a million turned up on Brighton Beach for the free event, changing the way UK events were run forever.
The doc features interviews with those who were there on the Brighton sands and witnessed it first-hand, including Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Vernon Kay and John Simm, all of whom recount their personal experiences of the era-defining gathering.
Right Here, Right Now is streaming on Sky Documentaries with Now from February 4 at 10pm.
Dakota
Single mum and recently widowed Kate Sanders (Abbie Cornish) lives with her daughter Alex (Lola Sultan) on her family’s farm in Georgia. Life on the farm is a challenge, and things only get more complicated when combat dog Dakota arrives on their doorstep delivered by Sergeant CJ Malcolm (Tim Rozon).
CJ is fulfilling a promise made to his friend and fellow Afghanistan veteran Clay Sanders – Kate’s late husband and Alex’s father – to bring Dakota home to them if he died. Kate spends her time between the farm and running the volunteer fire department, while Dakota watches over the family and becomes a local hero helping out around town.
Meanwhile, the local Sheriff (Patrick Muldoon) knows an old, long-buried secret – that the Sander’s Farm is valuable – and has been leaning on Kate to sell. The Sheriff will stop at nothing to get his hands on their land, but with the help of Alex and Dakota, Kate realises the true value of the farm, as Dakota teaches Alex there is nothing better than a dog as a best friend.

Top Gun: Maverick
After more than 30 years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialised mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose.”
Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.
