Matriarch
In this twisted British horror, Laura (Jemima Rooper) escapes from the high-stakes pressure of the advertising world to return to her roots after an overdose nearly takes her life. Accepting an invitation home from her estranged mother, Laura hopes some time away in a secluded English village will help calm the demons raging inside her.
She soon discovers the locals of the town are protecting an unspeakably dark secret – one that involves not only her mother but her own terrifying destiny.
War of the Worlds – Season three
In season three of this retelling of H.G. Wells’ classic tale, the war between the survivors and aliens reaches a new turning point as a terrifying phenomenon threatens Earth. The stakes are at an all-time high as one survivor sets out to investigate while forming a tentative partnership with an unlikely hero.
The pair will need to use every resource they have available to face an opposition more dangerous than ever in the fight for humanity’s survival.
Spider-Man 3
The final installment of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy sees everyone’s favourite web-slinger in the fight of his life, as Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) battles a hardened criminal, a vicious extraterrestrial, and an old friend out for revenge. If that isn’t enough, a strange black entity bonds with Peter and causes him to face his own inner demons as he prepares for a future with Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst).
