The Peripheral – Episode one
Set in the future when technology has subtly altered society, this mind-bending sci-fi thriller from Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan centres on Flynne Fisher, a woman trying to hold together the pieces of her broken family in a forgotten corner of tomorrow’s America. Flynne is smart, ambitious, and doomed, and her world is turned inside out when she discovers a secret connection to an alternate reality and a dark future of her own.
Four More Shots Please! – Season three
Four female friends from different walks of life deal with romance, work-life conflicts, ambitions and anxieties in modern-day India. Series two of this Indian Original Series set a benchmark in May 2020 when it became the most-watched Indian show on Prime Video that year, and now returns for a third hilarious outing.
Each of the girls is saddled by baggage, most of which slump their shoulders and almost make them fall. All they are seeking this season is closure but sometimes the closing chapters are the most painful ones.
Argentina, 1985
Boasting a 96 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, this retelling of a true David vs Goliath court case focuses on the events surrounding the Trial of the Juntas in 1985. It follows a public prosecutor, a young lawyer, and their inexperienced legal team as they dare to prosecute those responsible for the bloodiest dictatorship in Argentina’s history.
Modern Love Tokyo
The popular series Modern Love is rebooted with a new look and a new Japanese setting based on The New York Times column of the same name. In this romantic comedy anthology series, each story depicts various forms of love in a variety of expressive ways and will bring laughter and tears while moving the hearts of people everywhere.
