Adrian Portelli‘s home improvement show, My Reno Rules, has officially wrapped its first season with four people walking away as millionaires and no one taking the revamped houses. So, with two empty houses sitting in Melbourne, here’s what’s happening with My Reno Rules and a potential second season.
This article contains My Reno Rules spoilers. Proceed with caution.
Earlier this week, Channel Seven’s answer to The Block, My Reno Rules, came to an end with a live grand finale.
Alongside the winners of the competition, which saw Queenslanders Mitch and Shaz win $1 million in cash money, two regular Aussies were handed the option of taking one of the houses or $2 million dollars.
Unfortunately, for our teams who worked for weeks on their houses, no one took the homes and instead opted for the money.

So, with those money moves, that leaves us with two houses and questions surrounding a potential second season…
Here’s what we know so far about My Reno Rules season two.
What happened to the houses on My Reno Rules?
Being a nosey reality TV gal, I obviously had to ask Channel Seven what the tea was on the absolutely lush houses up in Bulleen, Melbourne.
“The houses remain the property of LMCT+,” a Channel Seven spokesperson told PEDESTRIAN.TV, referring to Portelli’s ‘rewards club’ company (LMCT+ refers to “licensed motor car trader”).
Which brings us to the big dawg of LMCT+, Mr Portelli himself, who confirmed that they will be a part of his portfolio.
“They will become a part of my portfolio, which I look forward to paying my annual land tax, vacant resi tax, council rates, stamps and capital gains if I do decide to sell them,” Portelli told P.TV.
Is there a season two of My Reno Rules?
At the time of writing, Channel Seven hasn’t confirmed any plans regarding a second season. However, they did hint at possible announcements at Seven’s annual Upfronts event, which is slated for October 2026.
“We are incredibly proud of the show’s debut performance and the highly effective platform it provided for our commercial partners,” the spokesperson said.

“Decisions regarding a second season will be shared when we reveal our 2027 content slate at Seven’s annual Upfront event in October.”
Interesting… look, we love an upfronts event, and hopefully, there’s a second season for My Reno Rules. Just let me get my annual leave hours in so I can apply for a chance at one million dollars…
