Tromso have placed an £8.5million valuation on midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl amid growing interest from Rangers as well as clubs in England and Germany this summer.
Derek McInnes has already strengthened his midfield options with the addition of former Sunderland captain Dan Neil, one of five new arrivals alongside Ivor Pandur, Ross McCrorie, Ben Godfrey and Lawrence Shankland.
Further business is expected as preparations continue ahead of the new campaign. The Rangers Review reports that Hjerto-Dahl remains firmly on the club’s radar after initial interest during the January window, with that position now intensifying following fresh offers for the 20-year-old.
Rangers are braced for bids for Nico Raskin once his World Cup campaign with Belgium concludes, with Atalanta, Bologna, Wolves and Real Betis all monitoring his situation as he enters the final two years of his Ibrox deal.

Mohamed Diomande could also depart this summer, leaving McInnes in the market for further central reinforcements.
Negotiations are ongoing with Partizan over captain Vanja Dragojevic following initial contact last week, while further talks are expected regarding a potential deal for Hjerto-Dahl.
Sources in Norway indicate Tromso are targeting a significant seven-figure fee for the Under-21 international, with several Bundesliga clubs tracking his progress.
It is also understood that an offer from a Championship side exceeds Rangers’ previous bid of more than £5.5million.
Hjerto-Dahl is believed to favour a move to Ibrox after previously distancing himself from interest from Besiktas.
