It's A Sin', I'm A Celebriy and Strictly Come Dancing are among the TV shows feasturing the highly memorable scenes of the past year, which the public can vote on ahead of this year's TV Baftas ceremony in May.
Welsh actor, Callum Scott-Howells broke hearts across the nation as innocent valleys boy, Colin, in Russell T Davies' It's a Sin, which aired back in January 2021. The drama drew praise for its representation of the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s and how it affected the LGBT community and Colin was one of the many characters lost to the disease in heartbreaking scenes.
Also in the shortlist is Ant & Dec's merciless ribbing of Prime Minster Boris Johnson and Partygate during the last series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! which was once again filmed at Gwrych Castle, near Abergele. As the camp leader changed during one episode, the duo made a savage dig at the PM. "And that means David's reign is over. But they weren't celebrating. They categorically deny any suggestions that they had a party. And this fictional party definitely didn't involve cheese and wine, or a Secret Santa," Ant said, as laughs erupted in the studio.
