Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has revealed that he wants to be known at Old Trafford as a player who wins silverware as he prepares for the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United on Sunday.
The Brazilian ace has been incredibly impressive since his summer move from Real Madrid, with the five-time Champions League winner helping United as they attempt to win their first trophy since 2017. The Reds currently sit third in the Premier League table and are the only side in England still competing on all four fronts.
Erik ten Hag's side have the chance to end their trophy draught this weekend when they face Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final. In addition, United are through to the last-16 of the Europa League and take on West Ham in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Casemiro has made 32 appearances for the Reds since arriving at Old Trafford, registering four goals and five assists. While the 31-year-old acknowledges that winning the Premier League is a difficult task, he is determined to lift silverware with United.
"I want to be known here as a player who wins championships," he told United's official website. "That's the most important thing. Regardless if we win or not, because we know it's hard to win titles, especially the Premier League, where all games are tough.
"But I want to win titles and important games here. It's not easy. We know that. Especially because we're talking about the most difficult league in the world. But that's what I want to be known for."
The Brazilian ace played the full 90 minutes as United defeated Barcelona in the Europa League on Thursday night, with the Reds progressing to the next round with a 4-3 aggregate victory over the Catalan outfit.
United will now turn their attention to the cup final against the Magpies, and Casemiro - who won three LaLiga titles with Los Blancos - is almost certain to start for Ten Hag's side in the showpiece event.
