This is the moment a hooded thug gets off his electric bike, pulls out a handgun and shoots up a home in broad daylight.
In footage circulated widely on social media, young kids sprint and cycle back to their homes from the green in panic after hearing the gunfire in Tallaght, Dublin yesterday morning at 11am. Gardai have launched a major probe and one line of inquiry is that it may be linked to a feud in the area.
The video showed the brazen criminal pull up to a home. He stopped, got off the bike and zipped down his top before pulling out the firearm.

He then walks a couple of yards to the driveway and fires shots, with smoke seen coming from the gun. He hops back onto the bike and heads off as young children run back into their driveways.
The man was wearing a grey tracksuit, black runners and had his hood up and face covered at all times. Investigators were last night working to establish his identity.
A Garda spokesman said: “Gardaí in Tallaght are investigating an alleged discharge of a firearm in Tallaght, Dublin 24. No injuries were reported. Enquiries are ongoing.”
A strong line of inquiry is that this incident may be linked to a dispute which saw a botched shooting last Wednesday evening. On that occasion, a number of shots were fired at a young man aged in his early 20s in Tallaght.
A source said: “The house shooting incident highlights how brazen these young men are.”
