The moment cavalry riders give young military fan a touching tribute

This is the moment a young fan wearing his own military uniform receives an official acknowledgement from cavalry riders.

Frank, who has gained a massive following on TikTok for a series of videos about the Kings Guards and all things military, was left visibly stunned when the Blues and Royals gave him a ceremonial “Eyes Left” recognition.

“Eyes Left” is a traditional military drill command used to pay compliments to a reviewing officer, dignitary or a superior while a unit is passing, with members of the unit sharply turning their heads 45 degrees towards the person being honoured upon command.

Footage on his TikTok channel shows the boy standing and saluting the riders with a staff under his arm as they make their way down The Mall towards Buckingham Palace.

As Frank watches on, the command “Eyes Left” is given to the Household Cavalry, resulting in the riders turning their heads towards him.

As the riders pass, Frank slowly turns around with a stunned smile on his face.

When asked what he thought of the experience, he simply replied: “Really good.”

Frank has gained over 390,000 followers on TikTok for his heartwarming videos of himself dressed in a variety of military outfits.

One commenter wrote on the video: “Cannot wait for Frank to grow up and then get commissioned as an Army Officer,”, with another adding “He deserves & earned that! Well done little man! You have your path marked out already. And you will go to the top!”

The Blues and Royals, the second most senior regiment in the British Army, form part of the Household Cavalry, and was formed in 1969 through the amalgamation of the Royal Horse Guards (The Blues) and the Royal Dragoons (The Royals).

This is not the first time that Frank has received recognition from the military on his channel.

Another clip, which shows the Scots Guards inspecting Frank during the Ceremony of the Word, has racked up an astonishing 32.1 million views on TikTok.
