The hype for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is high for both longtime fans of the series and newcomers alike, but I'm not sure the same can be said about its multiplayer component anymore.

This morning, Konami hosted its own showcase and unveiled a new trailer for the remake of 2004's Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and detailed the extras coming on top of the reimagined base game experience. One of them is a new multiplayer mode, but it's not Metal Gear Online.
