The identity of Jacket Potato on The Masked Singer UK may have been revealed thanks to a clue from another TV show. However, not everyone is convinced. The bonkers ITV singing competition returned to screens on Saturday night (January 28).
Pigeon, Jacket Potato, Fawn, Phoenix, Otter, Knitting, Jellyfish and Rhino once again took to the stage to perform with week's show themed 'Clue Week', which saw each celebrity contestant performing a song that contained a clue to their real identity.
Focusing on our carb-loaded friend Jacket Potato, the mystery celebrity gave a performance of Smooth by Santana. And in the latest clue package, Jacket Potato referenced being called Jack again, the number 50 and also talked about being in every country.

But those tuning into the show think the song choice - which features the lyrics 'And it's just like the ocean under the moon' has 'blow' the identity of Jacket Potato and are convinced it's still EastEnders star Shane Richie.

And they could be right if Jonathan Ross' appearance on Michael McIntyre's Big Show is anything to go by. The Masked Singer judge appeared on the BBC One favourite on Saturday night where he gave up his phone for a game of 'Send to All'.
The game sees comedian and TV star Michael send a text from a celebrities phone to every single person they have in their contacts - and the more embarrassing the better. And with Jonathan having a whole host of famous faces dialed into his phone book, Michael didn't hold back.
The message read: "Hi Doc, sorry for the late text, but the rash is back. Jane says it smells like cabbage and I can barely sit down. If you can come round NOW I’ll give you any comic of your choosing. Jx" And when they returned to reveal the responses, Michael wanted to know how well Jonathan knew Shane Richie.
And that's because he revealed that Jonathan had FIVE missed calls from the actor and performer. But while some are convinced they share a connection through The Masked Singer, some fans believe Bon Jovi guitarist and singer Richie Sambora is the one actually performing under the Jacket Potato costume.

@mariebettydavis shared: "So I was watching Ritchie Sambora on YouTube I now think Jacket Potato is him and not Shane Richie after all #MaskedSingerUK." @michellecurra commented: "The sign for halfway. 'Halfway there?' Bon Jovi = Richie Sambora #JacketPotato #MaskedSingerUK @d_dean90 added: "That jacket potato clip with guitar just pushes me more to Richie Sambora! #MaskedSingerUK."
