The Masked Singer UK: Unusual Rhino clue all but confirms major fan theory

The Masked Singer UK viewers have claimed Rhino's latest clue has all but confirmed that Charlie Simpson is behind the mask. Many viewers have been convinced the boyband member, known for Busted, is the singer concealing his identity under the Rhino costume.

And during the episode that aired on Saturday, February 4, one unusual clue was quickly unravelled by both viewers at home and Davina McCall on the panel. During the VT American actors Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn appeared on wanted posters.

While that might throw some, others quickly linked Owen and Vince to the film Wedding Crashes, and in turn, the famous Busted song, Crashed The Wedding.

Commenting, one wrote: "Vince Vaughn. Owen Wilson. Wedding Crashers. CRASHED THE WEDDING! CHARLIE SIMPSON!! #MaskedSingerUK.2

While another added: "Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson were in the Wedding Crashers … Crashed The Wedding, Mr Charlie Simpson #Rhino #MaskedSingerUK."

As a third commented: "Yeah, that is Charlie. Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn were in Wedding Crashers. Must be reference to Crashed the Wedding, the Busted song #MaskedSingerUK."

And a fourth said: "Vincent Vaughan.. Owen Wilson.. wedding crashers = crashed the wedding = Charlie from Busted said it all along!!!"

Davina also made the link and guessed Charlie Simpson, while other guesses from the judges included Snoop Dog, James Arthur, Max George, Ben Stiller and Jason Orange.

Not everyone was convinced though, with one speculating: "Rhino is Max from The Wanted."

"Rhino = Duncan from Blue," guessed another.
