Mo Gilligan has sent EastEnders bosses a casting plea as the comedian dips his toes into the acting pond.
The Masked Singer judge, 35, can see himself playing a bit part in the long-running BBC soap and fancies himself as a new member of the Walford fraternity.
Mo opened up on his future plans when discussing his new series The Lateish Show. He revealed he was eager to delve deeper into the world of acting following his recent voiceover role in the animated movie 10 Lives, which comes out later in the year.
The movie is set to feature the likes of Simone Ashley Bridgerton and Zayn Malik in what Mo gushes is a "really great cast".
Speaking to The Sun, he said: "This is my first taste of acting and I play a cat called Beckett.
"It's the dream to pursue and do more acting. I’ll take anything. Put me in EastEnders as an extra with Winston on the fruit stall."
Not one to set his sights low, Mo also put his name forward for a part in the James Bond franchise.
While he stopped short of putting his name in the hat for the next 007 agent, he teased he'd prefer to play a villain.
Discussing The Lateish Show, Mo added he is hoping to add to the previous season's success and add a third BAFTA to his collection.
The series sees Mo chat with a range of celebrity guests, while there are also special musical performances in the studio.
He continued: "I was able to pick one up last year for the show and in 2020 I got one for Entertainment Performance as well. I’ll take another BAFTA."
Mo admitted he will never assume he is a household name despite his success and appearances on prime-time TV.
As well as being a judge on the hit contest Masked Singer, Mo was also the host for this year's BRIT Awards.
Instead, he simply praised the fact the his "baby" is doing so well having built the series "from the ground up".
The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan returns to Channel 4 at 10pm on Friday May 5.
