When Cat and Mouse revealed themselves on ITV guessing game The Masked Singer, it was radio DJ Roman Kemp who seemed most surprised. It turned out the star couple masquerading on the show were none other than his celebrity mum and dad Martin and Shirlie Kemp.
Jaws dropped as the couple revealed themselves to an excited audience, reports the Manchester Evening News. Shirlie, 60, shot to fame in the 80s with Wham! and as part of the singing duo Pepsi & Shirlie while Martin, 61, is best known as the bassist in the band Spandau Ballet and for his role as villain Steve Owen in EastEnders from 1998 to 2002.
When they were asked if their Capital Breakfast DJ son Roman knew about their taking part in the show, Shirlie said: "No this is going to embarrass him. Most people say they are doing it for their kids."
