The new series of The Masked Singer on ITV continues on Saturday, January 21 and viewers (and judges) are still working out the identities of this year’s characters. Last week, football pundit Chris Kamara was the first celebrity to be unmasked, playing Ghost. You can read more about that here.
Host Joel Dommett is back presenting and he is joined by judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Rita Ora. They will all be guessing the identities of the unknown celebrities. In the second episode of the series, Rubbish goes up against Pigeon. But just who is behind the mask? Here’s a rundown of what the judges and fans thought.

Rubbish Clues
Week One:
Speaking with a strong cockney accent, Rubbish declared: "I'm the one that you've been waiting for and I'm here to work," as the character walked past a series of multi-coloured bins. A red bin read 'No 1'.
Rubbish then added: "Cleaning up, that's what I do best," and Jonathan Ross suggested the celebrity could "clean up awards."
"We're all solo and I'm here to do different things," Rubbish said and Rita thought that he/she could be in a band. Rubbish's riddle was: "Inside of my bin is trash I'm compiling. As a person, I'm happy but you won't see me smiling."
Week Four:
Rubbish revealed that "going green is very important to me" in week four. The character also said you couldn't "take me out", possibly referring to the former ITV romance show Take Me Out.
He said he had learnt what he does by copying the TV and there was a F1 car shown in his pre song clues. Picture frames where also shown in the clip possible hinting at a You've Been Framed link.
Judges’ Guesses
Jonathan Ross didn't think Rubbish was a professional singer and instead thought that former EastEnders' actor Dean Gaffney was behind the mask. Meanwhile, Rita Ora was convinced that it was rapper Goldie.
Mo Gilligan focused on the 'No 1' clue and suggested that it could be someone who has won lots of medals - Sir Chris Hoy. Later on, he stated that he was convinced Rubbish was other cyclist, Sir Bradley Wiggins. And Davina McCall then said that she thought it could be Anthony Costa from band Blue.
In week four Jonathan opted for Max Whitlock, Rita Ora went for Paddy McGuiness after the Take Me Out hints and the car linking to Top Gear and Davina said Jay Blades who hosts The Repair Shop linking Rubbish's passions for recycling. Mo also went for a sporty person going for Sir Chris Hoy and linking the photo frames to a photo frame finish.
Fan Theories
Over on social media, fans of the show were convinced that Rubbish was either JLS's Marvin Humes, singer Brian McFadden or Ricky Gervais. One person even suggested: "Could #rubbish be #NicholasLyndhurst? OK, my guesses are trash tonight."
Some fans are saying snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan, others have kept with the snooker theme and said Steve Davis while some have said Bradley Wiggins.
