The Masked Singer UK countdown to the final is officially on after the ITV show confirmed its semi-finalists, Rhino, Fawn, Jellyfish, Phoenix and Jacket Potato. The competition, which started off with twelve celebrities, sees a string of famous faces take to the stage under a guise in an attempt to bamboozle a judging panel and viewers at home.
Back on the panel this year is Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Rita Ora, with plenty of guest judges along the way, including Stephen Mulhern and Peter Crouch. Meanwhile, Joel Dommett has returned for hosting duties.
The double elimination of Otter (Daisy May Cooper) and Knitting (Claire Richards) means that just five contestants remain to battle it out for The Masked Singer 2023 trophy. You can read more about the most recent double elimination here.

In their clues on week three, Jellyfish made references to groups of jellyfish known as a smack, but said they liked to be an individual. The Little Mermaid theme tune also played before their performance of Hozier's Take me to Church.

Jellyfish said: "I'm never one to fish for a compliment but I'm certainly one to give one," leaving Rita convinced they were some sort of judge. The character could also be seen holding a mallet, lending further credence to this possibility.

Judges' guesses
Week one
Rita guessed Alexandra Burke as she won The X Factor in 2008 and linked it back to the competition clue. Jonathan guessed Michelle Keegan, Davina guessed Michelle Visage and Mo said Judi Love, due to her last name being all about love, and Ellie Goulding because of all the lights on the Jellyfish outfit linking to her song Lights.
Week three
Jonathan guessed Janet Jackson, while Davina opted for Kelly Clarkson. Mo guessed it could be Little Mix's Leanne Pinnock, while Rita guessed Halle Bailey, who plays Ariel in the new Disney's Little Mermaid.
Week five
Rita was convinced that Jellyfish was Jennifer Hudson, referencing the singer's song 'Spotlight'. Mo, meanwhile, thought that Leona Lewis was behind the mask. When it came to Davina, she guessed BGT judge Alesha Dixon and Jonathan suggested that Jellyfish was Glee's Amber Riley.
Week six
Judges guessed Alexandra Burke, Alesha Dixon, Beverley Knight, Alicia Keys, and Amber Riley
Week seven
Again, Jonathan guessed Amber Riley, while Peter Crouch picked her co-star, Lea Michele. Davina is sticking with Alesha Dixon.
Mo thought it was disco diva Chaka Khan. And Rita picked Jennifer Hudson.
Fan theories
Some fans have suggested Michelle McManus, others say Jodie Prenger and some say Amber Riley. Michelle Visage was further questioned on BBC One's The One Show about if she was Jellyfish. The star coyly did not deny the claims and kept a very good poker face.
She said: "There is always rumours about shows like The Masked Singer, that is part of the fun. If I told you, I would ruin it...I'm uncrackable." In week three fans speculated it could be anyone from Duffy to Beverley Knight to Alesha Dixon. Many agreed with the previous week's guesses of Amber Riley though.
Week five saw the likes of Paloma Faith, Emeli Sande and Amber Riley suggested by viewers on social media. In week six, Amber Riley was again a popular suggestion on social media.
Amber Riley and Paloma Faith were still popular in week seven, while some viewers also mused over Chaka Khan.
