The Manchester Party Bike - which became a big hit over the summer where revellers can pedal around the city - is heading out on Christmas trips. Friends jumping on board the adapted multi-seat bike will get to don a Santa hat and sing along to Christmas classics while they pedal around town.
Now complete with a "Merry Christmas R Kid" sign, the party bike will be taking festive rides out from Saturday, November 26. Up to ten pals can sit together on the bike, to pedal it into action while a driver steers.
For the Christmas trips it will belt out festive classics from the likes of Mariah Carey, Wham and Slade, for guests to sing along to as they pedal around the Northern Quarter. It is being launched to coincide with the Manchester Christmas Markets back across the city.

You can take your own drinks onto the bike for the journey which takes around an hour on a leisurely trip around the Northern Quarter. And if you're worrying about sloshing your drink then don't worry as cup holes are provided in front of every seat.
Stuart Smith, 51, from Monton, and Shane Steenson, 33, from Mossley, are the men behind the MCR Party Bike. The pals first met when they were both running bars in Spain.
But when both returned to live in their home city of Manchester came up with the idea for the party bike. It was a huge success over summer - but now they've come up with the idea of the Christmas specials to keep it going over the festive period.
Stuart says: "We are so proud of this and can't wait to shoot around the Northern Quarter with Mariah, Wham, Elton, Band Aid, Buble et al blasting out. If you're wondering what o do for your works Christmas party, then this could be it."
Parties of between 10-12 people can make a booking by paying a £50 non-refundable deposit - and then it's £10 per person on the bike with a free santa hat, sticker and a free shot. The bike only goes out on Saturdays, with time slots every hour across the afternoon.
Stuart and Shane have spent hundreds of pounds investing in the bike - which was shipped over from Spain - and it is decorated with the Manchester Bee emblem and the message "We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time." It's now got added tinsel as well as that northern "Merry Christmas R Kid" slogan across the top.
The extraordinary looking vehicle is powered into a leisurely pace by the pedalling of up to 10 participants. It is steered around the streets by the responsible driver at the front, who has full control of the bike and the brakes to bring it safely to a halt.
There are also two seats at the back of the vehicle to allow those who aren't able to pedal or would rather give it a miss and enjoy the ride instead. The party bike is suitable for ages 18+ only.
You can make the Christmas party bike bookings on the MCR Party Bike Facebook page.
