The lost and lonely Leeds women whose lives were transformed by a plea on Facebook

The Leeds woman who set up a friendship group in Leeds after finding herself in a 'bad headspace' has changed the lives of hundreds of women across the city.

Lauren Burton decided to create a Facebook group in a bid to make new friends in Leeds and the group has now grown to 800 members.

Since the group started the girls have been on a trip to Malham Cove in North Yorkshire and out for cocktails, along with other fun activities. There's also a group especially for over 50s.
