Cate Blanchett, Stephen Fry, Rachel Zegler, and Hayley Atwell were among the stars of the London stage celebrated at the 2025 Standard Theatre Awards on Sunday, at a glittering dinner hosted by the Standard’s proprietor Evgeny Lebedev in his historic Hampton Court home.
Winners in nine categories, plus two special awards to Blanchett and Fry given by Lord Lebedev to mark their exceptional contributions to the art form, were announced in a witty speech by compere Mason Alexander Park, trailblazing star of the Broadway hit Oh, Mary! Guests were entertained after the main course of rare beef by a rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams by rising singing talent Ava Joe, who also sang one of her own compositions.
