It’s a big day for boomers and free-to-air television enthusiasts across the country because the TV WEEK Logies awards have arrived.
Following one hell of a 2023 Logies red carpet at The Star Sydney, Australia’s biggest TV personalities and actors piled into Sydney’s The Star for the official awards ceremony.
We’ve had announcements such as Home & Away‘s Ray Meagher signing on for another five years (to add to his current 35-year run), some scoff-worthy jokes from host Sam Pang and a wholesome cross-generational award announcement from Heartbreak High‘s Ayesha Madon and Alex Dimitriades — that went to a fellow Heartbreak High actor no less. That’s a slay.
Taking out the big one, the shiny gold Logie, is Channel Seven’s golden girl Sonia Kruger. After missing out last year, I’m glad Sonia’s second round at gold has been a success. Plus, I bet Channel Seven is fkn stoked.
Anyway, here’s the full list of winners from the 2023 TV WEEK Logies Awards.
