A first glimpse of Perthshire ’s iconic sound and light show, The Enchanted Forest, was shared earlier this week providing delight to witnesses of its 20th anniversary.
The theme for this year’s astonishing reflection and laser display is ‘Together’. How fitting coming after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
This year’s show, which runs from September 29 to October 30, has been inspired by the hopeful public mood of togetherness that so many are now enjoying after such a long time apart, as well as the desire to mark the founding of the trailblazing event in 2002.
Initial impressions confirmed that Faskally Wood minutes from Pitlochry has once again been transformed into a show which transports visitors to a unique and inspirational place, which will delight people of all ages.
The show blends light, video and sound plus motion tracking projections enable visitors to influence what happens so they come out of the forest a tiny bit closer to each other, and to everything around.
A whole new creative team is behind this milestone display. Together is led by event management agency Wavemakers Live, creative design has been a collaborative process between Ian Greenhill and Rux Dragan at Studio Something and composers and sound designers Jon Beales and Rachel Cullen, with technical production provided by Catalyst Event Production Services.
