Glasgow Warriors scored a quite remarkable try against Dragons in the Challenge Cup, and the move has a striking resemblance to that iconic Phil Bennett score against Scotland.
The two teams clashed in the round of 16 of the European tournament two weeks ago, Glasgow won 73-33, and went on to beat Emirates Lions in the quarter-finals last weekend. They will take on Scarlets in Llanelli at the end of April in the semi-final.
Scotland international Rory Darge kicks off the trek to the whitewash with a burst of speed behind his own five-metre line, ripping through two tacklers. The back-row delays his pass, drawing the man and finding scrum-half George Horne.
As the nine is tackled he offloads into Scotland's Six Nations star Kyle Steyn. The flyer steps inside the last man, and pops the ball into Huw Jones as he is tackled. Jones was running a magnificent support line and had an easy run in under the uprights to complete a jaw-dropping effort from the Glaswegians.

Glasgow's score on Ballcarrier Rugby's TikTok account is one of the most viewed rugby clips this week, with 400,000 in just three days. The post also has 53,000 likes.
Many readers will be too familiar with an iconic try scored by legendary No.10 Bennett for Wales against Scotland. Glasgow's try may not have the mesmerising side-steps, innumerable offloads and impressive hand-offs, but there are similarities nonetheless. Both moves start out down on the right flank with each team deep in their own half.
Horne's offload is in pretty much exactly the same spot on the pitch as David Burcher's in 1977 to release Bennett, and is passed over the top in exactly the same fashion. Steyn's step is similar to Bennett's, and in roughly the same spot outside the 22. Albeit Bennett didn't need to pass, as his step was unsurprisingly magnificent!
While Glasgow's effort didn't have the class of Bill McLaren behind the microphone, fellow Scot Rory Hamilton still did the effort justice.
"Rory Darge! Beats one, beats two, and a third! He's got George Horne who's going to get caught but he finds Steyn... Huw Jones inside, oh my word! It's the perfect score," purred Hamilton.
