Weston McKennie will have a choice of shirt numbers available to him at Leeds United should he complete the move this month.
The Juventus star has reportedly agreed a loan deal with an option to buy and it is thought McKennie has flown into the UK to undergo a medical ahead of his move to Leeds. The American would become the club's third signing this month after the arrivals of Max Wober and Georginio Rutter.
Both Wober and Rutter have made their debuts for the club, with the latter having to wait two weeks for his first appearance for the Whites - a 3-1 win vs Accrington Stanley in the fourth round of the FA Cup. The German centre-back now dons the number 39 shirt, with Rutter opting for 24.

Being a central midfielder, those numbers may have not been high on McKennie's list of choices, but there is one number that certainly will be. The American currently wears the number 8 shirt at Juventus, switching from 14 following the departure of former Arsenal man Aaron Ramsey.
Yet there is bad news for McKennie, as Marc Roca currently wears the number 8 shirt for Leeds, meaning he will have to settle for another number. Should he wish to revert back to 14, Diego Llorente will have something to say about that.
The 24-year-old has also worn the numbers 2 and 6 during his time at Schalke and for the USMNT - but both of those are taken by Luke Ayling and Liam Cooper respectively.
There aren't a great deal of traditional midfield numbers left for McKennie to choose from, the lowest numbers still available to him are: 17, 22, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 34 and 35.
Arsenal's Granit Xhaka currently wears the number 34 for Mikel Arteta's side, while Kevin de Bruyne occupies the number 17 for Manchester City. Although the number 8 is not available for him, McKennie looks set to be in good company regardless of his choice.
