Leeds United right-back Rasmus Kristensen is in danger of being suspended for the Whites’ Premier League meeting with West Ham United on January 4.
The Whites’ defender currently sits on four yellow cards for the season and has just one game left before Leeds play host to the Hammers in David Moyes’ side’s first match of 2023.
Kristensen is Leeds’ most booked player this season in the Premier League and will receive a one-match suspension if he is carded on Saturday afternoon when Jesse Marsch takes his side to St James’ Park to face in-form Newcastle United.

The Danish international, who started all three of his nation’s matches at this year’s World Cup in Qatar, has started 13 of Leeds’ 15 Premier League games since his £10m move from RB Salzburg in the summer.
While Kristensen is on four bookings and could be banned to face the Irons, midfielder Marc Roca and defender Robin Koch were on three bookings going into Wednesday’s Premier League defeat to Manchester City. However, both men avoided a booking, meaning the only way they could get banned for the West Ham clash is if either were sent off.
Like Leeds, West Ham also have a player on four bookings with one fixture to go until facing Leeds. Germany international Thilo Kehrer is on four bookings and will have to avoid a caution against Brentford on Friday night in order to avoid getting banned to face Leeds.
