The Leeds Festival welfare tent: what to do if you lose your friends

Music fans who get separated from their friends at Leeds Festival are advised to head to the welfare tent. Around 200,000 are expected to be at the Bramham Park site and it's very easy to get lost among the crowds.

It is advised by the festival that you decide on a meeting point with your friends in the case that one of you is separated. Once you've grasped the map, choose a time and place to meet up later, so no one is left stranded for a long time.

But if you find yourself stranded at any point and haven't got a meet up spot, Leeds Festival organisers are providing another safe option. Here's everything you need to know.

What to do if you lose your friends at Leeds Festival?

Leeds Festival has a welfare tent, which is located in The Village. There is a team of experienced and supportive people there who are trained to assist and care for people that are lost.

The tent is open 24 hours, so if you find yourself separated from your party at any time during Leeds Festival there will be people there to help. It is advised that you wait at the tent if you feel stranded as they can arrange a place for you to get rest.

Staff at the tent will also assist with other problems including those relating to drugs and alcohol, health related issues or safety concerns. There are safe hubs in each campsite as well, with staff who are there to provide assistance.

In order to avoid being separated from your friends make sure to keep your phone charged - and drink responsibly. Also make sure you're responsible for carrying your own water and medication.
