A pair of former Leeds rockstar brothers put an all-star team together to brew the ultimate Leeds beer.
They’ve said it was an “emotionally-charged” day getting the group together, following the struggles the hospitality industry has battled against amid the Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Brothers Graeme and Baz Phillips, who own Meanwood Brewery, brought together representatives from independent bars across the North-Leeds suburb to brew the ultimate crowd-pleasing concoction. This comes as the suburb is preparing to throw its annual three-day beer festival from Friday, July 29, which had been disrupted in the last few years by the pandemic.
