This week, fans of Korean entertainment can enjoy the romantic comedy King The Land on Netflix. Thai fans will also have an opportunity to meet Ahn Hyo-seop, lead actor in the drama Dr Romantic Season 3.
King The Land
When K-pop singers have roles in TV series, viewers are often sceptical about their acting abilities. However, viewers have high expectations for Lee Jun-ho from 2PM and Im Yoon-ah from Girls' Generation since they both are excellent performers.
In King The Land, Jun-ho plays Goo Won, the heir and director of King Hotel, while Yoon-ah portrays Cheon Sa-rang, a lively and optimistic hotelier. The actors exhibit great chemistry. Goo Won is a more complex character than Sa-rang as he carries the weight of emotional pain resulting from his mother's unexplained departure. This light-hearted TV series is hilarious and keep viewers' interest.
Ahn Hyo-seop's Fan Meeting
Based in South Korea, Canadian actor Ahn Hyo-seop gained recognition for his role as CEO Kang Tae-moo in the romantic comedy Business Proposal. His latest role includes portraying Dr Seo Woo-jin in TV dramas Dr. Romantic 2 and Dr. Romantic 3. After the final episode of Dr. Romantic 3 was released on June 18 on Disney+ Hotstar Thailand, Hyo-seop is now ready to meet his fans in person.
"2023 Ahn Hyo Seop Asia Tour Here And Now" will be held on July 22 at BCC Hall, 5th floor of Central Ladprao.
