(nee Richards) (Former Deputy Headmistress at Cornelly Junior School) Passed away peacefully on Thursday 8th June, 2023 at The Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend. Hilary of Nottage Mead, Porthcawl, formerly of Old West Farm, Nottage; beloved wife of Mike, devoted mother of Eleanor (Elly) and Sarah and mother-in-law of Sean and Chris and a dearly loved grandmother of Lucy, Jess, Emily and Jack, will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. The funeral service will take place on Monday 26th June 2023 at St. John's Church, Newton at 1.00pm followed by interment at Porthcawl Cemetery at 2.00pm and refreshments afterwards at The Seagull, Sandpiper Road, Nottage, Porthcawl, CF36 3UT. Glyn Howard Hardwick
On 2nd June, in hospital, Glyn (retired Headteacher of Pengam Primary School) of Rolls Avenue, Penpedairheol. Beloved husband of Wendy, much loved father of Megan and Eluned, and Bampa to Becky, Tom, Caitlin and Bethan. Resting at the funeral home of Stanley J Nicholas Ltd The Paddocks, Pengam until the funeral on Monday 26th June 2023. The service and committal will take place at Sirhowy Valley Crematorium at 2.30pm. Gordon Alexander Edward Longmore
Passed away peacefully at Royal Glamorgan Hospital on Wednesday June 7th, Aged 93. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The funeral is a private family funeral but the family have asked for people who knew Gordon to come to the church service on Thursday 29th June at 2:00pm at St. Catwg, Pentyrch. Donations will be collected on the day for the Seafarers Hospital Society.

Gaynor Phillips
Suddenly passed away on Thursday 1st June in hospital surrounded by her family, aged 61 years. Much adored Mammy to Kelly, Marc and Leigh, Nanny to Rylee, Harlee, Joshua, Jack, Maddison, Paige and Morgan. She will be deeply missed by all family and friends Funeral service to be held at 2.45pm on Tuesday 27th June at the Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium. The family would like for you to join them afterwards for light refreshments and to share your memories of Gaynor at Fishermans Rest Inn, Bedwas. Family flowers by request only. Born April 7th 1945. Died June 2nd 2023 at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. A non attended cremation will take place shortly and a memorial event will be held at a future date.
