Arthur John Evans OBE
Former headmaster at Pen y Dre High School, Merthyr Tydfil Passed away peacefully on Sunday 11th June 2023 at The Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend. John of Park Avenue, Porthcawl; beloved husband of Helen, will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The funeral service will take place on Thursday 29th June 2023 at Noddfa Chapel, Philadelphia Road, Porthcawl at 2.00pm followed by a private committal. Family flowers only please. Ivy May Fullstone
Ivy aged 89 years of Tonteg Pontypridd, passed away peacefully in hospital on June 14th 2023. Beloved wife of the late Desmond, a loving mother to Carl and Perry and a cherished grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Resting at Co op funeral care Pontypridd until the funeral service at Glyntaff Chapel Wednesday July 5th at 10:30am followed by interment at 11:00am in Glyntaff Cemetery. Mair Gwyn
Our dearly beloved mother Mair peacefully passed away in her sleep on Thursday 15th June 2023. Mair, of Chevron Street Porth, was the devoted wife of Bill. A much loved mother and granny, she will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Mair's funeral service will take place at 1pm on Tuesday 4th July at St John's Church, Cymmer followed by interment at 2pm at Trealaw Cemetery. All family & friends are invited to The Baden, Aberhondda Road to raise a glass for Mair following the service.
John Leonard Harris
Peacefully, on 17th June 2023 at Brocastle Manor Care Home, Bridgend, John, aged 91 years, of Redroofs Close, Brynna. Dearly beloved husband of the late Marian, much loved father of Stephen, Phillip and Julie, father-in-law of Lorraine and Rik, loving Pops of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Originally from Llanwrda and Maesllan Farm, Llansawel. Devoted wife of the late Bryan, loving cousin of John and Aunty Glen to many. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. A service of thanksgiving will be held at Tabernacl Chapel, Fenton Place, Porthcawl at 11.00a.m. and thereafter at Bethel Chapel, Llansawel at 2.00p.m., followed by interment at Bethel Chapel Burial Ground. David sadly passed away on Sunday 11th June 2023 at The University Hospital of Wales aged 78 years after a short illness. Beloved husband of Mavis, much loved father of Keri, Ian and Paul and a dear father-in-law and Grancha. David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
