It’s the question that we’ll all be asking in June: will an NBA team actually draft Bronny James? If it’s the Los Angeles Lakers, does that mean they’re doing it to keep LeBron there? And if not … will that team then get LeBron to sign?
We’ve seen some mocks that have him going to the Lakers, which makes sense for the team that wants to keep James happy and in Los Angeles. He’s not in the first round of our latest 2024 NBA mock draft from Bryan Kalbrosky, but he is in the second round of the latest mock from The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor, with Bronny to the Lakers at pick No. 55.
Here’s his take:
LeBron James still plays for the Lakers, so it only makes sense that if any team is going to draft his son, who isn’t ready for the NBA, it would be them.
