Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced a list of steps in the next part of England's Covid plan.
It comes as the British government attempts to relax more Covid restrictions following the easing of previous rules and regulations.
The dates set up a rough guideline for when members of the public can expect to see certain rules and restrictions end including the requirement to self-isolate following a positive Covid test.

February 24
- Remove legal requirement to self isolate following positive test - but adults and children continue to be advised to stay at home if they test positive - in public health advice.
- No longer ask vaccinated contacts and those under-18 to test for 7 days.
- Will remove legal requirement for unvaccinated close contacts to self-isolate.
- End to routine contact tracing alongside this, given the above.
- End to the self-isolation £500 payment and some of the practical support that goes with it.
- End to the legal obligation to tell employers when required to self-isolate.
- Revoke other sets of domestic regulations Health Protection No3 - powers for local authorities to close areas.
March 24
- Remove Covid provisions on SSP and ESA - pre-pandemic you could only claim after 4 and 7 days.
- Day one rights will end.
April 1
- Free universal symptomatic and asymptomatic testing channels will end for the general public in England.
- Guidance will be updated in light of reduced testing
- Wider guidance will be consolidated and updated to cover areas such as work safety
- Testing and other interventions will become much more focused.
