The biggest college football game in the country was in Ann Arbor on Saturday. The first-ever visit by the Texas Longhorns to the state of Michigan brought out all kinds of fans, as well as the national spotlight via ESPN’s “College GameDay” program.
The traveling roadshow also brought out the Lions fans from nearby Detroit. And those Lions fans made themselves known on the morning show with the ubiquitous chant regularly heard across Michigan.
“Ja-Red Goff! Ja-Red Goff!”
The Goff chant was clearly audible over the broadcast feed. The cacophonous resonation venerating the Lions’ star quarterback simply cannot be contained these days.
