The Ipcress File viewers are all questioning the same thing following the drama's launch on ITV.
The high-octane spy thriller is based on the Len Deighton spy novel of the same name, which is the first in the Harry Palmer series and has been adapted for the screen by BAFTA award winning writer John Hodge.
Peaky Blinders and Gangs of London actor Joe Cole plays Harry Palmer, a role which was made famous by Michael Caine in the 1965 film, alongside a star-studded cast list including Lucy Boynton, Tom Hollander and Ashley Thomas.

The adaptation was highly-anticipated by fans of the Len Deighton books and movie, and while many loved the drama a few pointed out that the way it had been filmed was rather unusual.
Within minutes of the show starting viewers took to social media to share their thoughts.
One wrote: "It's a pity they couldn't afford the kit to keep all the cameras level on #theIpcressFile. Getting seasick here."
While a second added: "@itv the #Ipcressfile is a good program, but god do I feel drunk with all these twisted left and right angles."
And a third added: "#TheIpcressFile Quite liking it so far. But the slanting camera angles are a tad annoying. Do directors think this kind of thing is edgy or appealing in any way? It isn't."
Others loved the style, however, with one pointing out: "We're all getting that the #TheIpcressFile camera tilts are a homage to the Michael Caine 1965 film version, yes?"
And another adding: "Jeez they're using the camera the way it was used in the Caine version chill out folks. It's meant to be unsettling. #ipcressfile."
While a third commented: "Loving it so far. I'm a fan of the camera angles.#ipcressfile."
And a fourth said: "The cars, graphics, camera angles and style. Loving the 60s look of the #ipcressfile."
