The Instagrammer challenging the stereotype 'disabled people aren't attractive'

Joseph Bird, 28, was told as a child that his cerebral palsy meant he would "never walk". However, a former Paralympian rower, he has now seen his workout videos go viral on social media - gaining over 222,000 followers.

According to Birmingham Live, the Instagrammer taught himself to walk unaided, run and jump - all things he feared he would never do.

In the process, he has transformed his body through exercise, and aims to challenge the stereotype that "disabled people aren't strong or attractive".
