The addition of star Latvian big man Kristaps Porzingis to the Boston Celtics had been met with skepticism about the deal in some corners before the Unicorn got on the court with his new ball club. However, after seeing Porzingis in action, his ability to make quick decisions on the court, and his skill in stretching the floor beyond the 3-point line, many fans have come around to the deal.
The team has excelled in crunch time with its ability to battle through early adversity, notching impressive wins in their first several games of the season. Other positive points include the performance of Derrick White and the overall balance of the starting five to start the Celtics’ 2023-24 NBA season.
