
The House approved Senate changes to a nearly $3 billion plan that would extend pandemic school meal waivers through the summer and next school year for some students, sending the bill to the president's desk.
The deal comes after Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., blocked the bill in the Senate, urging lawmakers to bring back the "reduced price" category of the National School Lunch Program.
