Only Fools and Horses is the epitome of dad comedy culture, launching the careers of many famous actors and was a family favourite at tea-time.
One such actor who got his big break into Hollywood was an extra on the sitcom, and has since became a household name as Professor Lupin in the Harry Potter franchise.
As reported by MyLondon, David Thewlis, otherwise known as Remus Lupin in Harry Potter, starred in five of the eight movies based on the books by JK Rowling.

David appeared as Professor Remus Lupin in Prisoner of Azkaban, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince and both parts of the Deathly Hallows, where he met his end in the Battle of Hogwarts.
Remus was a Defence Against The Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts, a half-blood wizard and the only son of Lyall and Hope Lupin.
He was a much-loved character in the movies, whose powerful scenes have since become a favourite for many fans of the fantasy franchise - always reminding us to eat our chocolate!
However, many moons before landing the Harry Potter gig, David appeared in the It's Only Rock and Roll episode of Only Fools and Horses, as a member of Rodney Trotter's band, 'A Bunch of Wallies'.
He was merely a background character as the group's guitarist, but did this launch his career?
David has also played Ares in Justice League (2017), Sir Patrick in Wonder Woman (2017), Leslie Payne in Legend (2015), Father in The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (2008), Keith Jennings in The Omen (2006), plus many more.
He's also set to play Peylak in Avatar 2 which is due for release in 2023.
The famous actor also has a long list of television credits dating back to the 1980s following his Only Fools appearance.
These include Dandelion Dead (1994), Dinotopia (2002), Fargo (2017), Barkskins (2020), and Big Mouth (2018-2020) plus others.
It's fair to say David Thewlis has come a long way since the "Bunch of Wallies', and has since become a howling force to be reckoned with!
