One town in Greater Manchester is experiencing a boom in house sales, with homes selling quicker than ever.
Sale in the centre of Trafford has become one of the region's hotspot areas in recent years, and was also voted one of the top five best places to live in England.
Built along the Bridgewater Canal, the large suburb has an array of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, highly commended schools and the recently redeveloped Stanley Square - making it an attractive area to reside.

And its popularity doesn't seem to be slowing down, as the beginning of 2022 has seen homes get snapped up in record time.
Estate agent Purplebricks has revealed that houses in Sale are flying off the market - with most properties being sold in 24 hours or less.
Purplebricks area director Gareth Yates believes that it is the Trafford suburb's versatility and its food and drink offering that is causing a spike in its popularity.
“The schools have always been the pull of Sale however there is more and more money coming into Sale with Stanley Square being the most obvious choice," Gareth Yates said.
"We’ve seen the restaurant and bar trade flourish with Dutch Courage, Mustard, Rudy’s, The Bridge Inn, Us Four and more changing of the high street and surrounding area for the better.
"With this, more young professionals and couples are looking to Sale as a place to start their journey rather than waiting to have kids."
Compared to some other south Manchester suburbs, Sale has a variety of green areas.
"Sale benefits from plenty of tree lined roads and other greenery to stand out from the crowd," Gareth added.
"There is Sale Water Park where you can walk through to Chorlton Water Park as well as hidden gems like Walkden Gardens.
"In M33 there are several smaller subsections and locations with their own feel from Ashton Upon Mersey Village to Brooklands to Sale Moor Village."
Its easily accessible location is also making the area more attractive to house hunters.
“The location is ideal for commuters with the M60 and M56 motorway on your doorstep as well as easy access to the M61," Gareth said.
"You also have the Metrolink with both the Altrincham Line and Airport Line running through Sale.
"The A56 runs from Altrincham through Sale to the City Centre providing excellent bus, cycle and car links. If
" you're feeling brave you are also on the Manchester Ship Canal so you could walk the tow path or even hire a canal boat.
"Several work hubs are easily accessible such as Media City, Manchester Airport, the hospitals, the universities and more.”
Ranging from 1930s Victorian and Edwardian detached homes to modern terraces and flats, properties in Sale had an average house price of £344,750 over the last year.
According to Rightmove, the majority of sales in the area during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for around £379,200.
Since last year, house prices in the area have increased by 5% and are up 14% on the 2019 peak, where homes sold for around £301,368.
There are only a few properties currently on the market in the area due to the speed at which they are selling.
Purplebricks expect these four homes that are up for sale now to move very fast:
