Households across Greater Manchester are missing their DPD deliveries today as people hope to receive items in time for Christmas. There’s a one-day delay in deliveries to postcodes across the city-region.
Last week DPD temporarily stopped delivering to Greater Manchester postcodes, which it blamed on strike action. Royal Mail staff walked out last week on December 11, 14 and 15, they are set to strike again on December 23 and 24.
Today, DPD has listed postcodes across the country which are experiencing delivery delays. According to its website, the current delays are due to an “unexpected issue” and result in a one-day delay.
