We got the full spectrum of game-ending plays in baseball on Tuesday after the MLB trade deadline: There was the New York Mets losing on a walk-off balk.
Then? There was the San Francisco Giants winning thanks to a Patrick Bailey throwing out Geraldo Perdomo on first. The Arizona Diamondback was on first and Bailey took a Sean Manaea pitch and fired — from his knees — to first to get the final out of the win.
This is so good, and there were multiple angles of the throw that show you what an absolute missile it was to first base.
