After taking control of the race on stage 8, Demi Vollering (FDJ-SUEZ) confirmed an emphatic victory in the 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, winning the final stage and taking time out of her rivals.

Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney started the day eight seconds behind the Dutchwoman and was determined to do what she could to overcome her overall deficit. She set her team to work on the second of four ascents of the Col d’Èze, thinning the peloton hugely and setting up her attack on the steepest slopes of the final ascent.
