Former Arsenal and England striker Ian Wright has explained where Philip Zinckernagel went wrong with his missed chance in the FA Cup quarter-final against Arsenal.
Zinckernagel had the perfect chance to put Forest ahead in the tie but missed the target from close range. Liverpool dealt a crucial blow by scoring the only goal of the game just two minutes later.
Speaking on the Ringer FC podcast, Wright broke down the chance. He puts it down to the midfielder's lack of experience in having such chances presented to him.

"The chance that Zinckernagel had where the ball came across box, I can never understand as someone who's in a position to score like that why they choose the most difficult," Wright said. "The natural thing that came in their mind was the most difficult at that stage.
"The only thing I can put it down to is that they're not in that position naturally often enough to know that you don't want that ball to come across your right foot onto your left foot, because what might happen is it could come off your heel.
"Whereas if it's coming to you and across your first foot and you just sweep it in, you at least get it on target. Then what happens is, he misses, they go down the other end and score. You just think to yourself 'wow, the game is so cruel'. It was his time, his moment."
