The future of teaching? Meta launches VR for the classroom

The goal is not necessarily to replace what once have might been done in person with a virtual counterpart - (Meta)

Meta has announced the availability of its Meta for Education platform, which was announced in April 2024.

The platform uses the VR headset hardware someone might buy on the high street, but has different software to provide educational establishments with more control over what those headsets can run. Superhot VR and Beat Saber may be fun, but are not necessarily that educational.
