The full list of Shoe Zone stores that are closing down

Retailer Shoe Zone revealed it has closed down stores in response to soaring wage costs following the recent Budget measures as it warned over profits once again - (PA Archive)

Shoe Zone has blamed costs related to the Budget as the reason it will be closing down stores.

The group – which employs around 2,250 staff across 297 shops in the UK – said the Chancellor’s move to increase employers’ national insurance contributions and increase the minimum wage has led to “significant additional costs”.
