As the end of 2022 draws near, people will be looking ahead to the new year, and how they can utilise their holidays to the fullest.
The full list of bank holidays for the rest of the year, and heading into 2023 have been confirmed, with only two more bank holidays left in Scotland for 2022. Glasgow Live reported that bank holidays are a national public holiday given to residents of the United Kingdom, Ireland and Crown dependencies.
This refers to all public holidays across the UK, and are held under common law - or declared by royal proclamation. These holidays include days like Christmas, Easter holidays and New Years Eve and Day. On bank holidays, a lot of retail stores close, as well as schools and general business.
