Todd Boehly enjoyed a hectic end to the winter transfer window as Chelsea higher-ups completed the signing of Enzo Fernandez in the eleventh hour. The Blues hierarchy held extensive talks with Benfica on deadline day in order to sign the 22-year-old midfielder.
Fernandez, who has signed an eight-and-a-half-year contract at Stamford Bridge, was the seventh player to join the west Londoners in January. As Chelsea look to mount a late push for a top-four place, they are said to have spent over £300million on some big names.
The Argentina international, Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Joao Felix (on loan from Atletico Madrid) are four players which Blues fans are looking forward to seeing share the field.
