The flat Swansea City player ratings as key men go missing in Luton Town loss

ANDY FISHER 4

Couldn't keep out Allan Campbell's driven strike but produced a fine save to deny Dan Potts soon after. Distribution wasn't what it has been of late though which did little to help Swansea in their quest to build from the back. Helpless with the second.

NATHAN WOOD 4

Made his share of defensive interventions but was put under heaps of pressure in the first-half which yielded a few mistakes. Subbed at the break.

BEN CABANGO 4

Despite being largely good on the ball, a couple of loose passes put his side under pressure, but the Welshman was decent in the air. Made his share of clearances but was beaten by Carlton Morris for the second goal.

HARRY DARLING 4

A few good moments when carrying the ball, in fairness. But he was caught out for Luton's second goal as Cameron Jerome whizzed by him before teeing up Carlton Morris.

MATTY SORINOLA 4

Wasn't able to trouble Luton much in attacking areas and was beaten to the ball easily on numerous occasions. Withdrawn.

JOE ALLEN - Star Man 6

Swansea's best performer in what was a poor first-half. Battled hard throughout and good in possession. Not more he could have done. Withdrawn.

MATT GRIMES 4

Unable to trouble Luton high up the pitch and a couple of sloppy passes put his side under pressure. A tougher afternoon after his solid start to the season.

RYAN MANNING 4

Caused a few issues when he moved back to the left, although he was looser than usual in possession.

OLIVIER NTCHAM 5

A tough first-half for Ntcham following his largely impressive display against Millwall four days earlier. A couple of decent deliveries into the Luton box aside, a quiet showing.

JOEL PIROE 4

Far from his sharp best and failed to take a chance early on and was on the periphery after that. Looked a yard off it whenever he got into promising positions and could only guide a header at Horvath from close range late on.

MICHAEL OBAFEMI 5

Barely got a sniff in the first-half as Swansea struggled to create chances. Worked hard to no avail.

Subs

Kyle Naughton (for Wood) - Gave Swansea more control in possession and improved their ability to play out from the back. 6

Cameron Congreve (for Sorinola) - Injected life into Swansea and had his side's first shot on target. 6

Ollie Cooper (for Allen) - A few decent flashes in the final third, although the game was already gone. Good cross for Piroe. 6
